Jason Sordia is a producer based in Los Angeles, CA and is the CEO and Founder of Resilient Pictures and Entertainment (RPE). He is the Chief architect of Resilient Pictures Entertainment's renaissance after the Covid 19 lockdown. He credits his hands-on experience of living and working as a casting director while pursuing Broadway in New York City as the genuine test of character and determination.
Jason moved to New York City in 2001 to pursue Broadway. After a back injury Jason decided to stay in NYC to be in the entertainment business as an actor, a print model and a casting director. The 10 year experience in New York City laid the groundwork for his passion for the Film and television industry and his move to California.
Jason started producing films in the Art of Visual Storytelling taught by USC professor Miles Watkins. The first film he produced, Battle Scars, won the Audience Choice award at the GI Film festival. He co-produced the full length feature film, Hollywood I’m Sorry, and is currently in post-production for the thriller feature film, Boogey-Man. He has completed the prestigious Act One Producer and Entertainment Executive Program. Where he then became a creative developer for the company Thunderbolt Pictures and the Director of Operations at 2526 Studios in Burbank. Jason eventually left the studio in 2022 to pursue his passion as an entrepreneur and continue his own company Resilient Pictures and Entertainment.
Jason's leadership and team building efforts has enabled Resilient Pictures Entertainment to establish itself as one the new generation of Film and Television. Jason is engaged by creating and producing high quality programing content at a level never seen before in the industry. Jason's personal relationships with the top decision makers in the industry is one of his strongest suits. Creating relationships with major studio executives, casting directors and top A-List agents.
